Mermaid Art Workshop (K-6)
Let your imagination swim wild with shimmering tails and royal crowns!
Dive into a world of creativity in this mermaid-themed art workshop! Kids will design their own mermaid paper dolls with hand-drawn features, colorful hair, and sparkling, jewel-studded tails. We’ll make wearable mermaid crowns using gems and ocean-inspired decorations that reflect our unique personalities. This workshop is all about imagination, self-expression, and a little bit of sparkle! All materials provided—just bring your creativity!

Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
