Creative Thinkers (K-6)
An art class designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning
In this 6-week session, we focus on building a growth mindset through creative exploration. Students will learn to embrace challenges, take artistic risks, and view mistakes as part of the learning process—all while having fun creating art! Each week features a new hands-on project designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and resilience. Whether painting, building, or experimenting with mixed media, students will be encouraged to think creatively, try new things, and celebrate progress over perfection. With a maximum of 8 students, every child gets individual instruction!

Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
