In this hands-on art class, students will explore the exciting world of mixed media by combining different materials and objects into beautiful art. Each week we’ll explore textures, colors, and a variety of mediums to create truly unique artwork. With a focus on creativity and self-expression, students will discover how to push boundaries and think outside the box in their art. With a maximum of 8 students, every child gets individual instruction!

Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for 18 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
