In this outdoor art class, students learn about a new national park each week and create artwork inspired by its landscapes, wildlife, and natural beauty. This class encourages a love of adventure while building artistic skills, observation, and imagination. With a maximum of 8 students, every child gets individual instruction. This session offers all new parks, so if even if you've taken this class before, get ready to set off on an artistic adventure through America’s national parks!

Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for 18 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
