Paint Like the Masters (K-6)
Create masterpieces inspired by the world’s greatest artists!
Unleash your inner artist in this exciting art class where we explore the techniques and styles of history’s most famous artists! From the vibrant pop art of Warhol to the geometric brilliance of Kandinsky, each week we’ll dive into a different artist’s world and create our own masterpieces inspired by their work. In this session, we "travel" to some of the world's most famous art museums! Through hands-on drawing and painting projects, children will develop their artistic skills, explore new materials and techniques, learn about art history, and have fun painting like the masters! With a maximum of 8 students, every child gets individual instruction!

Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for 18 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
