Photoshop Art Class (K-6)
Learn the basics of photo editing and graphic design with Adobe Photoshop
In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of photo editing and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop while also building essential computer skills. Through hands-on projects, students will explore key Photoshop techniques such as cropping, color correction, layering, and simple digital illustration. They’ll learn how to enhance images, combine visuals, and create original designs while developing an eye for composition and detail. With a balance of technical skill-building and creative freedom, this class offers a strong foundation in both digital art and computer literacy. Laptop or tablet with Adobe Photoshop subscription required. Curriculum with materials list will be provided.

Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for 18 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
