In this outdoor class, we explore the beauty and rhythm of poetry through both written and visual arts while getting inspired by nature! Students learn how to express their ideas, emotions, and observations through different poetic forms while discovering the power of imagery and rhythm. We create illustrated poetry collections, and bring poems to life through spoken word activities. This class fosters self-expression, creativity, and collaboration while helping children build foundational literacy, communication, and presentation skills.
