X-Ray Anatomy Art (K - 6th)
Explore the skeletal system with a professional anatomy artist
Explore the structure of the human body by studying real X-rays and discovering how bones support, protect, and shape us. Students examine the skeletal system up close, observing bones in detail, then transform what they see into expressive X-ray–inspired artwork. Each week, students build observation skills and anatomical understanding before drawing, painting, and using mixed media techniques to reinterpret internal structures in their own unique style. This class blends curiosity, careful observation, and creativity, giving young artists a deeper appreciation for anatomy and art. Maximum of 8 students, so sign up today!

Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
