An art class designed to nurture creativity and develop strong drawing skills
This class introduces young artists to the technical skills of drawing, observation, and translating what we see onto paper. Through guided exercises and creative projects, students will learn to interpret proportion, value, and shading. This class is designed to develop dexterity, sharpen visual perception, and improve drawing skills

Meet the Teacher
Hi! My name is Beth. I work as a professional artist and I've been teaching art for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I've seen the transformative effect art can have on children. It's the one place they can make a mess, make mistakes, and create something great in the process. I see the pride and confidence it builds, the ideas it inspires, and the skills it develops. I’ve created fun play-based art classes to introduce foundational learning and artistic skills such as creative problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to foster a love of learning and set students up for academic and personal success.
